Set in Crete during the the German invasion of Greece in 1941. Verse drama written for radio in 1943 and adapted for the stage in 1945 with a different ending more appropriate to the outcome of the war.
Production Details

First produced by the New Theatre, Melbourne, 21 April 1945 under the direction of Hilda Esson. In the same year it was also produced by the Brisbane Repertory Theatre and the Sydney New Theatre.
