Urban Theatre Projects was founded in Sydney in 1981, originally under the name Death Defying Theatre.
Personal Awards
- 2019 recipient The Copyright Agency Cultural Fund — Cultural Fund Grants for Organisations — Theatre $8,000 for Michael Mohammed Ahmad, Sarah Ayoub and Omar Sakr to create novellas rewriting the dominant narratives around the lives of second-generation Lebanese-Australian citizens.
