BiographyHistory

Gloria Whalan was nearly fifty before she found out she belonged to the Wiradjuri nation. In 2009 she was awarded a Latrobe City, Victoria, Senior Citizen of the Year award for her active participation within her community.

Gloria Whalan's love of art stemmed from an early age. By the time she had children of her own, she was able to work teaching drawing and folk art.
