Arguably one of Horace Bent's most popular sketches, The French Conductor is believed to have been a three-hander originated by Bent, Beaumont Read, and Sam Keenan (q.v.).

Presented as part of Bent's testimonial.
1905: Queen's Hall, Sydney, 27 November - 2 December. Producer Frank Smith. Cast incl. Walter Cottier and Harry Elliott.
Likely a revival of Bent's original farce.
