'The year was 1956 and the world was in the grip of rock 'n' roll with teenage gangs and corruption ruling the streets of Sydney. Beginning with George Everard, feared by criminals and known to all as the Prince of Darlinghurst, the lives of three generations of cops are traced. After George came Harold, weak and psychotic, followed by the new breed of cop, Shayne. Three men living in the shadows of justice, bound by blood and the unique code of honour that rules them.'
