- y Andromeda Spaceways Magazine no. 90 2023 26337681 2023 periodical issue 'Welcome aboard, passengers, and please forgive the minor time dilation (yet again). It’s perhaps not widely known that viable, definitely-fully- pressured spacecraft like those maintained by Andromeda Spaceways require a solid pilot and co-pilot relationship, in particular to handle the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. In so far as piloting is still needed in this fully automated AI-driven future, Shelly and I piloted this issue in two distinct chunks: Shelly selected the stories, and then when real life got in the way, I took the steering column, glued it back on, and held it aimed at the interstellar teleporter (at least I think that’s what it was) until a welcoming docking clunk made the lights dim slightly.' We’ve ensured all the seams are properly tightened and we’ve had a double layer of duct tape applied for your comfort, if you consider breathing atmo both important and comfortable. Note that due to budget cuts this double duct tape is only applied to seams in the first class compartment and to the airlock seams between the first class and economy compartments.' 'Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. This is not a happy place. As we steer the ship back to Earth’s orbit, you would be forgiven for thinking the planet was abandoned. Those plumes of smoke and the dark nights aren’t promising. But if you look a little closer you’ll see there are survivors... probably more than you’d expect.'

- y Andromeda Spaceways Magazine no. 81 December Tom Dullemond (editor), Laura Cesile (editor), 2020 23201115 2020 periodical issue 'Earlier this year, I read Carlo Rovelli’s Seven Brief Lessons on Physics and one quote in particular stood out to me: “We are made of the same stardust of which all things are made, and when we are immersed in suffering or when we are experiencing intense joy, we are being nothing other than what we can’t help but be: a part of our world.”' (Editorial, introduction)
- y Andromeda Spaceways Magazine no. 80 September Tom Dullemond (editor), 2020 20881054 2020 periodical issue 'Greetings, passengers, and welcome aboard flight #80, which is nominally taking place somewhere in the year 2020, which as we all know is merely a hell-simulation we’ve all been thrown into for some perverse circus audience.' (Editorial introduction)
- y Andromeda Spaceways Magazine no. 79 June Joel Schanke (editor), Mallory Thomas (editor), 2020 20878753 2020 periodical issue 'One of Mallory’s favourite speculative fiction novels, Carve the Mark, by Veronica Roth, contains a quote that encompasses nearly all the works revealed in this issue: “It’s hard to know what’s right in this life,” she said. “We do what we can, but what we really need is mercy.” Considering the state of the world at the moment—with civil unrest, COVID 19, and numerous protests—it’s no surprise that the selections of speculative fiction for Issue #79 had an underlying theme: love in all forms.' 'Attention all passengers - this is your Captain speaking!
'If you have been watching the news, you will know that the people of Earth are currently suffering through a pandemic known as “COVID-19.” For those of you who are not students of history, various worlds have experienced similar pandemics in the past such as the “Clone-Killing Nanovirus,’’ the “Great Plague of Middle Earth,” the “Shame” of Betelgeuse 5, and, of course, the always insidious “Cooties.”
'We here at Andromeda Spaceways take the health and wellbeing of our passengers very seriously and will be following the strict guidelines developed in the wake of the aforementioned pandemics in order to keep everyone safe throughout their journey.'
