Carlos Keith is a pseudonym for Val Lewton, a minor novelist, story editor and film producer whose novels 4 Wives and No Bed of Her Own were banned in Australia in the 1930s. Keith is included in AustLit because his work was banned or restricted in Australia by the federal censor.
