BiographyHistory

Wilfred Busse was born in Chiltern, North East Victoria. His grandparents arrived at this town at the onset of the gold rush, and, at the end of this era, purchased land adjacent to the Murray River. Busse's had a great passion for the area and its rich history gave him the inspiration to begin writing. Busse attended Wesley College before going on to study at The University of Melbourne. Here he attended the lectures of Professor Ernest Scott, renowned Australian historian. After graduating, he practiced law in the chambers of Leo B. Cussen.
