Canadian-born variety performer, revusical writer and director. Ross originally came to Australia as a member of the American Burlesque Company (q.v.) and remained in the country on and off for a decade or more. During his career in the country he teamed up with Clara Keating (as Keating and Ross) and later formed his own revusical company, touring on the Fullers' (q.v.) Australian and New Zealand circuits, in addition to other variety organisations including Harry Clay (q.v.).
