A highly obscure and seemingly unsuccessful melodrama, which Pike and Cooper in Australian Film, 1900-1977 : A Guide to Feature Film Production (p.83.suggest may have been made by wealthy amateurs, Scars of Love appears to have been about an Australian nurse on the Western front. Contemporary newspaper reports described it, obscurely, as 'a powerful story showing the sins of the fathers visited upon the children'.
