Location: Yarrabah Knowledge Centre
Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council owns and operates the Yarrabah Knowledge Centre (YKC). YKC is a hive of activity with the vibrant and dedicated coordinator Pam Mundraby at the helm, and is well support by the Council. YKC delivers engaging and creative children's programmes, such as First 5 Forever and homework sessions.
Languages spoken in Yarrabah include Gunggandji and Yidinji. The Mayor of Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council is Ross Andrew, and the CEO is Janelle Menzies. The population is approximately 2,600.
