AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A descendant of the famous traveller Marco Polo, Marco Polo Jnr also undertakes an exciting journey - this being to the mythical kingdom of Xanadu. His quest is to visit the land of Kubla Khan in order to save it from the villanous magician Foo-Ling, With the help of his friends, and the great powers of a magic medallion, young Marco pursues Foo-Ling through space and time until he eventually defeats him and brings him to justice.

Notes

  • Marco Polo: Return to Xanadu is a partial remake and re-edit of the 1972 Australian animated feature Marco Polo Junior Versus the Red Dragon. Footage from the original film was combined with new animation to create the final result, with some additional dialogue also added.
